Registering a domain and hosting one is sometimes mistaken by many people to be one and the same thing. They're actually two separate services - the domain name registration is the actual name and nothing more, while the hosted domains feature refers to the number of already registered domain names you can accommodate within the same web hosting account and have website data and emails for them. Your sites will work in precisely the same way regardless of whether the domain addresses are registered and hosted in one place or are registered with company A and directed to company B. Simply registering a domain without hosting it will grant you ownership, but will not allow you to have a site unless you host this domain address in some account so that records for it are set up and it starts opening the information from that account.

Hosted Domains in Hosting

The hosting solutions we provide allow you to host a different number of domains. This way, you can choose what package to get and how much to spend in accordance with your needs. If you want to host more domain addresses in the future than the number the current package enables you to, you can effortlessly upgrade your entire package or even keep the same one and just add more slots for hosted domain names. If you want to employ the registration services of some other company, you will be able to see the name servers that you have to set for your domains so as to direct them to our cloud platform in the Hosted Domains section of the Control Panel on our end. If you prefer to have everything in one location, however, there is no limit for the number of domain addresses you can register/transfer in your account regardless of the hosting plan that you have chosen. Then you could decide if you'll host any of them or you'll forward them to other existing domains.
